The power of equality: Musical Inclusion
Looking for a good read over the festive period? Youth Music recently published The Power of Equality 2*, the final report from Sound Sense evaluating our three-year Musical Inclusion programme.
The report is relevant for anyone involved with arts education and/or youth work: policy makers, funders, project managers, music teachers and leaders. It’s a long document that’s well worth making time to read, as it offers comprehensive evidence and honest feedback. It also sets out the key ingredients for musically inclusive practice and recommendations for the future.
Drake Music are making plans even further into the future with their Think 2020 project, which aims to increase musical opportunities for disabled children and young people through strategic and sustainable partnership work.
