Tender Opportunity: Delivery of GDPR Training Course

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce are looking to form a partnership with a suitably qualified and experienced practitioner who can deliver high quality training courses to our members and the local business community in relation to the new General Data Protection Regulation that will come into effect as of May 2018.

The specific requirements we are looking for are detailed below:

A full one day course
Courses must be highly effective and engaging ensuring the delegates achieve the agreed learning objectives
Provide a comprehensive overview on how to comply with the Regulation and what will change from the existing legislation
Explain clearly the new rules regarding the legal basis for processing, consent, privacy notices, control of personal data, mandatory breach reporting, complaints and penalties
Detail any supporting resources that are included within the delivery of the course; for example:
– A course pack containing all the information presented on the day
– An action plan that can completed as a follow up to the course
Within your application please add any further information or testimonials which support your proposal.

The closing date for the tender is strictly 5pm Friday 11th August 2017.

Once all applications have been considered if you are successful in progressing to the next stage you will be contacted by email to invite you to present more detail around your proposal. Feedback may not be possible in all cases.

Please note the successful tenderer will need to be a minimum Essential level member of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce to supply any of our training services and must remain a member throughout the full duration of the contract.
