Lot specific requirements

Lot 1 Increasing Apprenticeships in Greater Essex in priority sectors

The Services must focus on the follow priority sectors in Greater Essex:

  • Transport and Logistics
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
  • Health/Social Care
  • IT, Digital and Technology
  • Creative, cultural and media and the visitor economy
  • Environmental Technologies, Construction and Energy

The Services should deliver 90% of apprenticeship starts in the priority sectors.

The successful candidate must work with the Essex Employment and Skills Board to ensure delivery meets local needs and must report on progress on a quarterly basis.

Lot 2 Increasing Apprenticeships in Kent in priority sectors

The Services must focus on the following priority sectors in Kent and Medway:

  • Transport and Logistics
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
  • Health/Social Care
  • IT, Digital and Technology
  • Creative, cultural and media and the visitor economy
  • Environmental Technologies, Construction and Energy

Services should deliver 90% of apprenticeship starts in the priority sectors.

The successful Candidate must work with the Kent Skills Commission to ensure delivery meets local needs and must report on progress on a quarterly basis.

 Lot 3 Increasing Apprenticeships in East Sussex in priority sectors

The Services must focus on the following priority sectors in East Sussex:

  • Transport and Logistics
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
  • Health/Social Care
  • IT, Digital and Technology
  • Creative, cultural and media and the visitor economy
  • Environmental Technologies, Construction and Energy

The Services should deliver 90% of apprenticeship starts in the priority sectors.

The successful Candidate must work with Skills East Sussex to ensure delivery meets local needs and must report on progress on a quarterly basis.

Currently £14,799,000 will be available for the period from August 2016 to March 2018. This may be increased if additional funding becomes available.

Lot 1: £6,364,000

Lot 2: £6,511,000

Lot 3: £1,924,000
