SEMLEP £8 million of European Funding launched

Eight million pounds* of European Regional Development funding (ERDF) is now available for outline project applications which support small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) across the South East Midlands.

The first ERDF information event is on Tuesday 3rd May at Milton Keynes College. Book your place HERE.

£4 million of this funding is for projects that will enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, including social enterprises. The other £4million is for projects that will help SMEs to invest in and benefit from research and innovation.

This allocation is part of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership’s (SEMLEP’s) European Structural Investment Funding (ESIF).

Projects must support small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) based in the South East Midlands, an area which covers Aylesbury, Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Cherwell, Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton and South Northamptonshire.

Organisations are invited to submit outline applications by 27th May, 2016. Applications should be for a minimum of £500,000 ERDF plus eligible match funding.
