Resilient Heritage Programme Opens for Applications (UK)

The Heritage Lottery Fund has announced that its new Resilient Heritage grants programme has opened for applications. Through the programme, not for profit organisations and partnerships led by not for profit organisations can apply for grants of £3,000 – £250,000 to strengthen their organisation, and build the capacity of their staff and volunteers to better manage heritage in the long term. Grants can fund activities to help acquire new skills or knowledge, or new models of governance, leadership and business to put the organisation in a better position for the future. Organisations in the early stages of planning their activities may also apply.

There are two levels of funding under this programme. For organisations applying for a grant of £10,000 or less, the application, assessment and monitoring process will be simpler than for grants over £10,000. Applications can be submitted at any time and applications will be assessed within 8 weeks.
