Irish Medical Devices Association (IMDA) Skillnet

Irish Medtech Skillnet is a training network supported by the Irish Medtech Association – an Ibec sector for the medical devices and diagnostics companies in Ireland that represents over 300 companies employing almost 100,000 employees across the multinational and indigenous sectors. Irish Medtech Skillnet is funded by member companies and by the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets, funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.

The purpose of the Irish Medtech Skillnet is to provide training and skills development programmes for companies in the aforesaid medical technology industries. Having conducted a Training Needs Analysis among its member companies, the Irish Medtech Skillnet has identified a need for a two year part time QQI level 7 manufacturing programme to be delivered to the employees of its member companies and is seeking proposals for their delivery accordingly.
