Police & Crime Commissioner Youth Fund (Cambridgeshire)

Charities and community groups working in Cambridgeshire can bid for grants of up to £2,000 for projects that to divert young people (up to age 18) away from a life of crime.

Projects must be related to activities that have the potential to reduce youth crime and linked to the Commissioner’s pledge to continue to tackle crime and disorder.

Some of the grants awarded from the Fund include:

GAP Learning CIC received a grant to fund a project raising awareness of the issue of grooming for young people.

Masjid Khadijah & Islamic Centre Peterborough received a grant towards equipment and delivery of two youth groups which empower young people by facilitating discussion of social issues that are important to them.

The deadline for applications is 1st November 2016.
