People’s Postcode Lottery Launches Dream Fund 2017 (England, Scotland and Wales)

The People’s Postcode Lottery has launched the 2017 Dream Fund.

The Dream Fund gives organisations the chance to deliver the project they have always dreamed of, but never had the opportunity to bring to life. The Dream Fund will offer £1,000,000 over two years and there will be two or three awards in total. The Dream Fund encourages not-for-profit organisations to collaborate to deliver a more effective project. All applications must therefore come from at least two organisations that have joined forces to deliver an innovative project. The lead organisation must be a registered charity. The other partners can be charities, voluntary groups, community interest companies or other not-for-profit organisations. The lead partner in any application must have an annual income that is at least two times the amount applied for and the minimum that can be applied for is £500,000.

Projects must address one or more of the following themes:

  • Early child development
  • Helping refugees in our community
  • Conserving our marine environment
  • Reconnecting with the natural world
  • Engaging people with arts’ culture and heritage.

The closing date for stage 1 applications is 5.30pm on the 15th September 2016.

Those successful at this stage will be invited to submit a stage 2 application by the 30th October 2016.
