New SEND Exhibition Site and Support

 In news, updates

ETF has launched a new exhibition site dedicated to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

With key information and resources, the site is designed to help post-16 learning providers, practitioners, leaders and managers to recognise their key role in improving outcomes for learners with special educational needs and disabilities. The Site also provides:

  • an understanding of the recent SEND reforms
  • an opportunity to reflect on current practice and provision
  • a foundation to develop and improve SEND provision, in line with the SEND Code of Practice
  • new films featuring interviews with learners with SEND

The SEND Workforce Development Project – led by ETF on behalf of the Department for Education – has brought together a consortium of partners to increase the awareness, capacity and expertise across the sector to deliver high-quality provision for learners with SEND.
