National Training Services Provider Framework Agreement

Northern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC)

The Framework will provide a highly competitive training services provider agreement for use by member institutions of six participating HE purchasing consortia in the UK. Primarily this will focus on standard training courses commonly required for staff development by member institutions.

This Framework is being tendered on behalf of members of the following organisations

APUC (Advanced Procurement Universities & Colleges) http://www.apuc-scot.ac.uk/

LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium) http://lupc.ac.uk/

NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium) http://www.neupc.ac.uk/

               NWUPC (North West Universities Purchasing Consortium) http://www.nwupc.ac.uk/

SUPC (Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium) http://www.supc.ac.uk/

Standard training is defined as off the shelf, repeat or readily available training programmes which in some cases may require a degree of tailoring or adaption to suit the University’s culture or needs.

Lot 4: Professional Qualifications
Lot 5: Registered Apprenticeship Training Providers
Lot 6: Standard and Compliance
Lot 7: Managed Training Service Provider
Lot 1 IT and Project Management

IT software e.g. Microsoft products, SharePoint, Sharefile

IT infrastructure and programming e.g. Cisco, Oracle, Citrix, Cloud, Linux, Java, SQL

Network and Cyber security

Project and Programme Management e.g. Prince 2, APM, ScrumMaster, Agile, Six Sigma

 

Lot 2. Leadership and Management

Leadership development for both academic and support staff,

Management development for both academic and support staff

Supervisory /Team Leader development

Team Management

Change Management

Accredited, non-accredited or endorsed provision usually CMI and ILM

 

Lot 3. Personal development

Interpersonal skills e.g. communication skills, appraisal skills, assertiveness

Personal Development e.g. Presentation skills, Reporting skills

Self-management e.g. time management, meeting skills, stress and resilience training. Wellbeing, Coping with Change

Coaching and mentoring

Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity, Unconscious bias.

Psychometric testing e.g. MBTI including administering and interpreting the tests

 

Lot 4. Professional qualifications
Professional qualifications such as AAT,ACCA, CIMA, CIM,CIPD and CIPS or training to deliver psychometric testing

Lot 5. Registered Apprenticeship Training Providers

Range of apprenticeships including Administration, IT, Procurement, Accounting, Marketing, Hospitality, Maintenance and Facilities Management

Full delivery by ATP and shared funding basis where University delivers the apprenticeship as they have in-house skills in terms of assessors and trainers.

Lot 7. Managed Training Service Provider (MTSP)

Master Vendor with maximum 40% own delivery

Training services supplied under the Managed Service Provider will include areas covered by other lots in the agreement and MTSP’s must be capable of delivering to all Consortia areas.

The Northern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) manages framework agreements for its members in the HE and FE sectors. For this Framework, NEUPC is lead organisation for other HE Consortia NWUPC, LUPC, SUPC, HEPCW and APUC. A full list of members is available on the individual consortia websites. No level of business is guaranteed under any resulting agreement and there is no guarantee that any framework will be put in place. Any values stated are estimates based on historical spend. Providers should take part in the process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
