London ERDF Programme update and deadline reminders

OUTPUTS

The Government has issued LEP area output targets for the England ERDF programme.  You can access this information for the London LEP area here.  Applicants should realistically forecast likely outputs based on the level of ERDF they are requesting. Due to the amount of funding in the Calls for Proposals for Call 3 we anticipate that calls will be competitive; this is particularly the case for Priority Axis 3 – SME competitiveness.

ERDF FINANCIAL ALLOCATION

London’s notional share of the England programme is awarded by Government in Euros (converted to Sterling using a 0.71 exchange rate – January 2016):

Priority Axis 1     £24,203,916

Priority Axis 2     £2,111,718

Priority Axis 3     £56,485,035

Priority Axis 4     £56,265,461

Priority Axis 6     £5,778,614

Total                     £144,844,744

For further updates on the London ERDF and ESIF programme, including the recently updated ERDF Q and A, please see the LEP.london website.

REMINDERS

Call 3 of the London ERDF programme was launched in December 2015 and the deadline for Outline Applications is 23:59 on Friday 19th February 2016.

If your application was successful in going through to the Full Application from Call 2 (which closed at the end of October 2015) the deadline for Full Applications is23:59 on Friday 11th March 2016.

All submissions are to be emailed to esifcalls@london.gov.uk by the deadline date; late submissions will not be accepted. Please make sure you include which Call number and which Priority Axis you are applying under in the subject field.

In both cases, if your submission includes large file sizes (not expected at Outline Application stage), please email us separately to notify us that you have sent your application; due to the firewall at the GLA we will need to try to prevent emails not getting through.

If you have any questions, please email esifcalls@london.gov.uk.
