Lambeth Portuguese Speakers Community Fund

Portuguese is the most common main language spoken by Lambeth school pupils after English. In recognition of this the Portuguese speakers fund has been set up in order to improve the lives of Portuguese-speaking Lambeth residents and in particular the most vulnerable or disadvantaged members of the community. The fund which is administered by the London Community Foundation aims to improve English language skills and literacy, increase employability and improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of Portuguese speaking residents. Community groups, registered charities and tenants and residents associations (TRAs) can apply for funding of between £500 and £5,000 for projects lasting up to 1 year.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 30th September 2016.
