Jack Petchey Foundation Small Grants Programme (London & Essex)

The Jack Petchey Foundation, which awards grants to programmes and projects that benefit young people, has launched the latest funding round for its Small Grants Programme.

Any organisation that is running the Achievement Award in their school or club, AND have recently nominated a Leader Award winner is eligible to apply for an additional small grant once each year. The maximum grant available is £750 and the total project cost must not exceed £5,000.

Previous grants awarded include:

James Hornsby High School, Basildon which used the money to buy new rugby kits for its students.

The Otherwise Club, Brent which used its grant to assist them in the cost of running several workshops. The workshops were for young people to learn how to create, produce, and present their own radio programmes under the guidance of an experienced DJ and broadcaster.

The closing date for applications will be the 30th September 2016.
