Hackney CVS – Engaging with Online Influencers and Fundraisers

Are you making the best use of your social media channels? Have you explored using social media for online fundraising? This training session will help understand the benefits of using social media to attract donations and new supporters to support your work for the community. The training will focus on engaging influencers on social media and recruiting people to become online fundraisers for your charity or community group.

Part one: Reaching New Audiences and Engaging Influencers Online

Part two: Engaging Online Fundraisers

The session will provide you with the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand the key concepts around social media.
  • How to identify key channels to engage new supporters and influencers online.
  • Communicate effectively with your supporters through social media.
  • Recruit, develop and support online fundraisers for your organisation.
  • How you can join Localgiving and take part in our Local Hero competition 

The training will be delivered by Conor Kelly – Training and Development Manager from Local Giving. Conor supported many charities across London to develop their online fundraising goals and attract supporters to their cause.
