London 2014-2020 ESF Programme – Update

Greater London Authority launches NEW ESF Funding Opportunities

The GLA CFO has launched it’s 2014-20 ESF Co-financing programme. The GLA ESF CFO Programme has been developed to complement existing provision, including piloting new approaches to delivery, targeting specific cohorts, and building on the Mayoral ‘brand’, whilst responding to the objectives of moving people into sustained employment, education or training, of upskilling people in low-paid employment, and of reviewing skills offered to ensure they match the requirement of business (and particularly SMEs and Micros).

Two strands of activity have been launched:

  • Care Leavers into Work will support 16-24 year old care leavers into sustained employment. (1 grant of £500,000)
  • Getting Back on Track will support young people who have recently dropped out from their level 2/3 studies at school or college. (1 grant of £500,000)

The suite of documents required by potential delivery partners in order to submit an application can be found here: https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/funding/european-social-fund/gla-co-financing-organisation

The deadline for applications is 23rd December 2016
