GDPR and The Institute of Customer Service
Later this year we will see the single biggest change in legislation affecting an organisation’s ability to communicate with individuals, when the much publicised General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes in to effect on 25th May.
Like many other organisations, The Institute of Customer Service has been exploring the impact of the new regulation on the way we communicate with you.
As you are undoubtedly aware, our vision is of a world where customer experience makes a positive and sustained impact on individuals, organisations and the economic well-being of the UK. It is with this in mind that The Institute shares its thought leadership, news and opinions. We also keep in touch with you about the work we do to improve customer service in the UK as well as the products and services we offer to help you achieve better levels of service.
Based on our assessment of the content that we share, our belief is that the provision of information relating to market intelligence, thought leadership, events, customer service news, accreditation and qualifications combine to help you and that, as a result, you have a legitimate interest to continue receiving information from The Institute.
Our intention, therefore, is to continue sharing information. However, should you wish to stop receiving our newsletters or information at any time, please use the unsubscribe options on the emails you receive.
