Funding to Help Integrate Refugees and Asylum Seekers (England)

The New Beginnings Fund, which aims to support refugees joining UK communities has re-opened for applications.

Round 2 of the fund will support projects in areas of England. This includes Yorkshire, the East Midlands, the North East, the South West, the South East, the East of England and additionally in Cumbria, Staffordshire, Manchester and Cheshire. In this funding round a total of £440,000 is available to support and strengthen the capacity of local groups working to integrate refugees and asylum seekers into local communities. The Fund will welcome proposals from small to medium size organisations that offer guidance, counselling, community integration and welcoming activities to vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers and which can demonstrate there has been an increase in the demand for their services.
