Funding for the Provision of Money Advice Services (North West)

Not for profit organisations and registered charities that are delivering debt/money advice services can apply for funding through the United Utilities Trust Fund.

Grants are made under two separate streams:

  • Revenue Project Funding of up to £65,000 over two years
  • Small Grant Funding up to £1,500.

To be eligible for funding, projects must:

  • Be located within the United Utilities Water Plc geographical area
  • Enhance and develop the provision of debt/money advice services to individuals
  • Demonstrate that a project will benefit people who are currently in hardship and who are unable to meet the costs of water and/or sewerage charges provided by United Utilities
  • Support a ‘deprived community’ where a significant majority of the residents live in the worst 10% Lower Super Output Areas or Wards in England and/or where there is a high incidence of debt.

The deadline for applications is 19th December 2016.
