Funding for Overseas Development Projects (UK)

The next closing date for applications to the Philip Henman Trust is the 10th September 2017.

The Trust is inviting applications from UK based overseas development organisations requiring partnership funding for long term overseas development projects (lasting between three and five years) that will provide a lasting beneficial impact to the people or environment. These grants are split into annual payments (between £3,000 and £5,000 P.A.) with a maximum total of £25,000. To be eligible to apply, the applicant organisations must be a UK registered charity (normally defined as having an income of over £100,000 PA). Please note that the Trust only has resources to guarantee an average of two new long term grants a year.

Previous organisations supported include:

  • The International Children’s Trust to improve the educational performances of street-working and other vulnerable children in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
  • HealthProm to provide water for villages of Charkent District, Afganistan.
