Free media training and mentoring scheme ‘MyLondon’

MyLondon is a free eight-month media training and mentoring programme run by Media Trust in partnership with the Trust.

The programme, which commences on the 27 January, is for community leaders from London’s migrant and diaspora communities* who want to amplify their voices and change the perception or representation of their community in the media.

Sign up now to get free support including:

• Media interview training

• Advice and training on how to make your own film and content

• The opportunity to have a two minute film made about your community

• The opportunity to be mentored by a media expert or journalist

Who should apply?

If you’re aged 18 plus, fluent in English, have a minimum of two years experience working (paid or voluntary) with a migrant and diaspora community and can commit to five days between January and June 2016 for training, networking, mentoring and content creation, then we want to hear from you.

Fill out the application form below before the 7 January and get 2016 off to a great start for your community.

We’ll be choosing 12 successful entries to take part in the programme. If you don’t hear back by Thursday 14 January, your application has not been successful.
