Community Safety Fund Opens for Applications (County Durham and Darlington)
The Community Safety Fund has re-opened for applications for projects and initiatives across County Durham and Darlington that help to keep communities safe and contribute towards inspiring public confidence. Community groups and voluntary sector organisations can apply for grants up to £7,500 from the £150,000 fund. The fund is specifically looking to support projects that: encourage diversionary activities; tackle anti-social behaviour; tackle harm caused by alcohol, drugs, and violence. Items that can be funded include: communication materials; activity materials and costs; session workers; room hire; volunteer costs. The deadline for applications is 30th April 2017.
