Charity payment compliance work shortlisted for UK IT Industry Awards
Charity Payment compliance and data security specialist has been recognised for its work with two UK charities.
Semafone, the provider of data security and compliance solutions for contact centres, has had its work with the Royal National Institute for Blind people(RNIB) and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) shortlisted for the UK IT Industry Awards.
Semafone’s Cardprotect solution has supported the charities’ goals of achieving PCI DSS compliance and rigorous payment data security, ensuring that the RNIB and the BHF continue to provide the phone as a viable donation channel to their supporters.
Semafone CEO Tim Critchley said “Having our projects shortlisted for not one but two award entries at the UK IT Industry Awards is a real achievement. This recognition shows that PCI DSS compliance is as critical for charities as it is to any other organisation that takes card payments over the phone. It’s fantastic to see two of the UK’s most prominent charities taking the security of their donors’ personal data seriously.”
